Free Money Matters workshops offered at Central Library on Nov. 15, Dec. 13, 2017

BIRMINGHAM, AL-Need help saving for retirement or tips on how to stay within your means while holiday shopping this Christmas? Then make plans to take advantage of two free "Money Matters" workshops taking place Nov. 11 and Dec. 13 at the Central Library downtown as part of the Birmingham Public Library (BPL)'s partnership with UAB’s Regions Institute for Financial Education.

 Between now and May 2018, this monthly workshop series will offer valuable advice designed to help you gain a better understanding of your personal finances and begin making a plan for the future. All workshops will be held in the Youth Department’s Story Castle, located on 2nd floor of the Central Library, 2100 Park Place.

Below is a listing of the Money Matters workshop series by month through May 2018. The workshops are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, with the exception of the one scheduled for December 2017, which will be held on the 2nd Wednesday.
