BPL, Partners to Host Drive Thru Trunk or Treat

Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat
When: October 31st, 2020, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Central Library, 2100 Park Place, Birmingham, AL 35203
Details: The Birmingham Public Library is partnering with Leaders of Excellence and several organizations to host a Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat at the Central Library. Families are invited to bring their kids to get free candy and goodies bags. Remember to wear your masks.

Looking for a safe family friendly spot to get free candy and goodie bags for your kids this Halloween? The Birmingham Public Library is partnering with Leaders of Excellence and several other organizations to host a Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Central Library, 2100 Park Place in downtown Birmingham.

Leaders of Excellence (https://www.leadersofexcellence.org/) is a non-profit that provides a variety of free services for school children in Birmingham including job training, college prep, anger management, life skills training, anti-bullying and violence prevention.

Other organizations partnering with BPL in this Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat include the Birmingham Police Department, Miles College, Determined 2 Be Mentoring & Leadership Program, The Birmingham Barons, Greater Birmingham Ministries, Aspirations in Computing, Bama Health Foods, Town Square Realty, Girl Scouts of North Central Alabama, Vital, Summit Media 98.7 FM, Better Basics, and the City of Birmingham.
