BPL Young Professionals

Between now and September 30, the Library will accept nominations and applications for members of the future Board of the BPL Young Professionals. The group will host lectures, special collection tours, and other social events; volunteer time and skills; and increase public awareness and access to the Library’s resources.

Flow Tactics on the Tracks at Railroad Park, August 26

John Paul Taylor and some of the participants from this summer's adult poetry classes offered at BPL will perform at Railroad Park on Sunday, August 26, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., as part of Flow Tactics on the Tracks, a free poetry and music event. Birmingham Public Library to Expand Newly Named Architecture & Design Collection

The Birmingham Public Library (BPL) announces an ambitious and ongoing effort to expand its newly named Birmingham Architecture & Design Collection, which is part of the library’s Department of Archives & Manuscripts.
