Comments: I read a couple of pages from the book to Ms. Grey's 10th grade history class. The student's really seemed to enjoy talking about some of the challenges facing Jewish people in Germany prior to World War 2. They took World History in the 9th Grade and were able to reflect on the conditions facing people in Germany.

Comments: What an amazing book. I hadn't read it since I was in 7th or 8th grade and I had forgotten what an incredible combination of child and adult, imp and sensitive, realist and dreamer was she. And she has lived on after her death, as she wished.

Comments: Although I have known about Anne Frank and her diary, I have never taken the opportunity to read this. I must say that, while at time obviously a teen, most of what she says in regard to life, nature, and god can apply to anyone at any age. To discover I have read this 'banned' book during Banned Book Week is also a plus. My life has definitely been enriched by the thoughts of Miss Frank. I think I was most amazed that some of her tribulations are the same as I experienced at her age, and then relived with my own children as they entered that age. Some things are timeless. A highly recommended read.
