The Blues Music Awards are presented by The Blues Foundation each year to recognize Blues artists, musicians, and recordings. The web site offers information about the awards ceremony, a list of current nominees/winners and a link to past winners.
The CMA (Country Music Association) Awards web site provides a list of winners/nominees for the most recent ceremony, links to the web sites of award winners, an awards database for past winners, and highlights of past ceremonies.

Compiled by NPR music critic, Tom Moon, this online companion to his book provides a listing of his favorite recordings. The list can be browsed by artist, title, or genre and covers a broad range of music from classical to hip-hop.
Provides reviews, ratings, descriptive categories and biographies for thousands of musicians in all genres of music. The classical music section features composer biographies, lists of musical compositions by type (Choral, Keyboard, etc.) and descriptions of significant works.
ASCAP provides a way for musicians to gain permission to publicly perform copyrighted music. Its members include U.S. composers, songwriters, lyricists, and music publishers of every kind of music. The ACE database of song titles licensed by ASCAP provides information on who to contact if you want to use the work. However, ASCAP does not copyright, print, publish, or sell music.
The Choral Public Domain Library (CPDL) describes itself as "the largest website devoted exclusively to free choral sheet music." A quick search feature allows you to search for sheet music by composer or title.
This factsheet provides basic information on copyright registration of music. It also contains a link to Circular 50, Copyright Registration for Musical Compositions, which provides detailed information on registration procedures.

The official site of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum provides a list of inductees, describes exhibitions at the museum, offers an interactive timeline of rock and popular music history, and a store for purchasing hall of fame merchandise.

Music Scores
The Mutopia Project offers sheet music editions of classical music for free download. These are based on editions in the public domain. All works are available in LilyPond notation software as well as pdf.
This website is a wiki-based repository of musical scores with the goal "to create a virtual library containing all public domain music, as well as music from composers who are willing to share their work with the world without charge." In addition to scores, the site offers recordings in MP3 format.
