Located in Hoover, the Aldridge Botanical Gardens is home to 175 hydrangea species and cultivars. The public garden offers seminars for adults and field trips for school children.

The Gardens offers a conservatory, Japanese garden complete with tea house, fern glade, and separate gardens devoted to iris, rhododendron, camellias, roses, wildflowers, vegetables, and more.
