General Information
In 1996, the Perseus Digital Library Project (Tufts University) created an exhibit on the ancient Olympics to coincide with the centennial of the modern Olympic Games. The site provides information on ancient Olympic events, famous athletes from the period, and a tour of Ancient Olympia.
ESPN presents a documentary on the Beijing Olympics as well as a timeline of memorable Olympic moments, profiles of American Olympic hopefuls, and updates on past Olympic champions.
Provides listings of Olympic medalists for both the Summer and Winter Games dating back to 1896. Information can be accessed by sport, country, or date. Medal leaders for each Olympiad are also included.
